Welcome to our website!

The Chuck Wagon Gang is still rollin' on in 2008, continuing in the great 72 year tradition of singing the old gospel songs the old time way. The Chuck Wagon Gang holds the distinction of being the oldest recording mixed gospel group still performing with ties to the original founding.

As an example of how the old songs retain their popularity, the great Chuck Wagon Gang standards, classics, and most requested songs are still featured at today's Chuck Wagon Gang concert, and our simple approach remains intact. There just can't be a Chuck Wagon Gang concert without "The Church In The Wildwood", "Echoes From The Burning Bush", I'll Fly Away", "I'll Meet You In The Morning", "Looking For A City," "The Son Hath Made Me Free", "A Beautiful Life", and others in this vein. Quite often The Chuck Wagon Gang re-creates an old 1940's Chuck Wagon Radio program on the second half of the show, even singing a commercial for Bewley Mills Flour Company, the sponsor for the radio program. As with any singing group, new songs, and new recordings continue to give the group relevance for today.

One thing that has not changed is the mission of the group, that is to follow Dad's admonition to "sing the old songs and sing 'em the way I taught you." The Gang hopes to bring the message of hope and salvation to a weary and uncertain world.

So when we travel your way, come see us and take a trip back in time, escaping from the cares, trials and heartaches of "An Unfriendly World", and basking in the knowledge that one day we'll "Walk On The Streets of Gold", "Forever More."
Current members are: Dave Emery (Bass, Manager, Emcee), Julie Hudson (Soprano), and Penny Greene (Alto), Stan Hill (Tenor).

In His love,
The Chuck Wagon Gang

Support the Chuck Wagon Gang

We are all affected by fuel prices these days.  Our average fuel bill has more than doubled in the last couple of years.  At around 5 miles per gallon, you can just about figure what it costs to operate the bus.  Fuel increases can not ideally be passed on to promoters or churches, yet our fees and honorariums have remained close to the same as when fuel costs were lower.

If you would like to donate to help with our fuel costs, your donation would be very much appreciated.  Your gift is tax deductible under IRS regulations as we are a 501 (c) 3, non-profit organization.  You will receive a tax deductible receipt for your donation.  Please click here to donate: Fuel Donations

Thank you for your prayerful consideration.
