Chuck Wagon Gang Nominiated in Diamond Awards

The Chuck Wagon Gang has been nominated in the 2008 Diamond Awards. There are 17 voting categories, and the Chuck Wagon Gang nomination is in category #12, "Bluegrass Gospel Artist Of The Year".

Chuck Wagon Gang 2009 Homecoming Concert

Make your plans now to attend The Chuck Wagon Gang’s Homecoming Concert to be held Saturday, April 4, 2009, at the Smoky Mountain Convention Center in Pigeon Forge, TN.

We will have a Matinee beginning at 1:00 PM and an evening concert at 6:00 PM. The Matinee concert will feature some fun time with special requests taken, question and answer time, touring the bus, and a time when YOU can play or sing with the Chuck Wagon Gang (any song, any part). For a small charge, you may have a video of your performance with the Gang. Doors open at 11:30 AM and concessions will be available.

The evening concert will start at 6:00 PM. The concert will include some special guests and two performances by the Chuck Wagon Gang. Again, we will be inviting former members to attend and participate on the second half of the program. The doors open at 4:30 PM.

ADMISSION:
Reserved Seats $25 – General Admission $20
Children & Youth through age 17 - $10
Children – FREE through age 12 – General Admission
Youth – Ages 13-17 - $5
Group Rate - $5 discount ticket for groups of 10 or more.
All prices include both Matinee and Evening Concerts.

Here is a Seating Chart for the event. Gray boxes indicate seats already sold. Keep in mind that the extreme right and left sections are slanted towards the state. The seating chart is updated regularly, however at any given time, there may be reservations ahead of you that have not been added to the chart.

MOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS: We have reserved rooms at the Ramada Inn, next door to the Smoky Mountain Convention Center. The rate for a standard room for up to 4 people is $69 per night plus tax. Other upgrade room accommocations are available. We encourage you to stay at the Ramada Inn, as your stay there helps keep the Convention Center cost down. For motel reservations, call 1-800-523-3919.

The facilities are located on the South end of Pigeon Forge on the Right, just before traffic light #10, headed towards Gatlinburg. The Ramada Inn is located at 4010 Parkway (Hwy 441), Kentucky Fried Chicken just before it, and the Smoky Mountain Center is behind KFC..

Chuck Wagon Gang Honored in Dyersburg, TN March 14th, 2008



The Chuck Wagon Gang was presented a Proclamation from the Mayor of Dyer County at Springhill Baptist Church, March 14th, 2008, Dyersburg, TN. The honorable Mayor Richard Hill of Dyer County provided a plaque in appreciation for what the Chuck Wagon Gang has contributed to Gospel music, singing 72 years and producing over 39 million records, as well as for their many performances in Dyer County during their years of service.

Mayor Richard Hill and his wonderful wife Ms. Hester Hill, both have appreciated the Chuck Wagon Gang over the years. The Pastor of the Church, the Reverend Jim Branscum, made the presentation to Dave Emery, on behalf of the Dyer County Mayor's office. The church was filled to capacity and the evening was great. The photo was taken by Tommy MacDonald, a 96.3 radio personality, who has presented the Chuck Wagon Gang's music for 31 years on Sunday mornings.

Prices: Rates range from $695 to $875 per person, based on double occupancy. Prices include your cabin, meals, all port charges, taxes, fuel surcharge, 24 hour room service, and entertainment aboard the ship. There are no hidden charges! The cruise will provide a guideline for tipping, however tipping may be done at each person's discretion.

Other Special Pricing: Some rooms can sleep 3-4 passengers. Third or fourth adult in cabin $615 per person (with two full-paying adults). Children 15 years and younger $275 per person (with two full-paying adults. Suites are also available.
