Night after night folks all over the country relate to us their favorite and most dear Chuck Wagon Gang memories.  The stories vary from experiences they've had themselves to special memories passed down from parents or grandparents.  I began to feel (with encouragement from my hubby!) that to put all these wonderful memories and priceless stories in a book was imperative.  If you have a story you'd like to be part of this upcoming book, please share it with me via email. I look forward to hearing from all of you!!

Thanks and God bless!

Family Member Shaye Smith Returns To The Chuck Wagon Gang

PIGEON FORGE, TN (Press Release) - The Chuck Wagon Gang is pleased to announce that Shaye Smith, the grand-daughter of the late Anna Carter Gordon Davis, the original alto singer for the Chuck Wagon Gang, will be returning full time to sing alto once again with the group.  Shaye first came to the Gang in 1993 as the soprano singer for the group, which was comprised of Roy Carter, Eddie Carter, and their sister, Ruth Ellen Carter Yates.  Some ten years ago she became the alto singer for the group, and two years ago she left the group to be with her young boys and attend to some family matters.

The Chuck Wagon Gang and eight other artists will be going on a 5-night cruise to the Bahamas from February 20-25, 2010.  This ship sails from Jacksonville, Florida and there are only 15 cabins left.  There will be a lot of fun, sun, food, and great fellowship.  Complete information about the cruise is posted at our cwgcruise.com website.  If you'd like to go, or you have questions or concerns, call us at 888-319-1021 or Inter-World Travel at 800-993-8785.  Be sure and state The Chuck Wagon Gang as your host group.

Chuck Wagon Gang's Annual Visit to Norman Park, GA

06/24/09 09:06 PM
The Chuck Wagon Gang once again rolled into Norman Park this past Saturday, June 20th. Their first stop was Stan and Robbie Whitman's home, where everyone one enjoyed a summer barbeque that included all the trimmings. It was an enjoyable afternoon of fellowship and preparation for the evening's concert. While many concert goers return year after year to this annual event, there are always a large host of folks who attend for the first time. This year was no different. A crowd of nearly 750 filled the auditorium, anticipating a great evening of being blessed and uplifted by hearing their favorite songs of the Chuck Wagon Gang. They were not disappointed.

One of our favorite places to sing is the annual Albert E. Brumley Memorial Gospel Singing.  We will be appearing there again this year on Friday, August 7th at 7:00 PM.
